My weekly yoga class with Berit is an important and necessary part of my week. With the stress and rush of juggling work and other elements of life, yoga is an opportunity for me to put all that aside and allow time just for me. Berit’s classes are both challenging and relaxing – there is enough communication to make the time personable and informative without affecting the sense of peace which pervade her classes. Throughout the hour and a half I feel focused and encouraged, and able to ask if I need extra help.
At the end of the class, I leave with a feeling of calm and a sense of achievement that I have moved further along my yoga journey. Having previously tried several different forms of yoga, I feel that I have now found the style which works best for me. With her holistic and inclusive approach, her deep enthusiasm, and her gentle support, Berit is an inspiring and highly effective teacher.
